The Tuscan Villa vacation was more than I ever imagined. It was the ultimate “foodie” tour. Our local tour guide was knowledgeable about the land and its agricultural offerings, and we enjoyed everything from local Tuscan wine, meat, olive oil and cheese to the exotic of local saffron spice. Chef Katie shared her wealth of culinary experience, and we enjoyed dinners cooked in the kitchen, the outdoor fire or the alforno oven. The Val D’orcia area is rural, peaceful and just the setting for a relaxing holiday.
